If you are interested in Egypt, there is a new chapter of the AMERICAN RESEARCH CENTER IN EGYPT forming in New York. They just had a conference where Dieter Arnold of the METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART spoke as well as Richard A.Frazzini and Madeleine E. Cody from the Brooklyn Museum of Art. It appears King Tut was kicked by a horse, and that is how he died or maybe it was a camel---and that's just gossip. For more information contact Billy Morin, President of the new NY Chapter and see what lectures are on the schedule.
