HAPPY NEW YEAR - I attended NY MAYOR MICHAEL BLOOMBERG'S INNAUGURAL PARTY AT CITY HALL. LIZA MINNELLI sang her signature song 'NEW YORK, NEW YORK' with pizazz, fervor, hi energy and exuberance. And New York loves her and responded with lots of applause. She welcomed in the New Year wearing a bright red jacket and did some two- steps on stage. She is just brilliant.

The party was at least 1,000 people strong. I rolled in with State Senator Roy Goodman and we tried the soup and sandwiches. I finally made it to the other side of the room and ran into friends. It was a jolly great time - "4 more years".
