Greek Easter and Christian Easter fall together this year - i'm dying lots of red eggs.

CHRISTIES had an amazing event - a reading from Shakespeare's
Hamlet by Roger Rees from the Royal Shakespeare Commpany ( he used to paint scenery before he became an actor). The reason for the even t is an auction for important English Drama from, the Estate of Mary, Viscountess Eccles. Hamlet from 1611 will be auctioned off. Louis Isacson , President of the Actors Circle introduced the evening. I learned an interesting quote - "Domire, sonare, et fare niete" - sleep, deam and do nothing.

VANESSA REDGRAVE will be coming to the U>S> to perform in HECUBA; she has performed with SIR LAURENCE OLIVIER
At the lovely reception I met an owner of a Renaissance manuscript - it was a very select crowd - I am glad I was invited.
