At the Pierre, SIR DAVID FROST and HOWARD STRINGER, PRESIDENT OF sONY, were honored by the St. Georges Society which helps English immigrants. The jokes were non-stop, each one funnier than the other. I had met both of these gentlemen at a dinner honoring BARBARA WALTERS a couple of years ago, given by the Film Institue. The English were having a blast since the QUEEN MARY 2 was in the harbor. What a boat by Cunard- with a astonomy-theater to watch the skies, a Veuve Cliqot champagne bar, several swimming pools, duplex rooms, some costing $3,ooo for 6 six days Well, they serve lobster every day - but do they seve baked alaska??? - When we were children we sailed on the Olympia - to Greece, I remember the dessert from then. There are several cats for adoption : PUFF, a salmon colored male; Pfreckles a siamese mix, Julie, and Anna Bisou, a Russian Blue- call Place for Cats at 212-751-2093 and speak to Mia... |
